Don’t Mess With Gramps!

An 80-year-old California liquor store owner, Craig Cope, has become a hero after defending his business from an armed robber. As the suspects approached, Cope was vigilantly monitoring his store’s security feed. When the robber entered with an assault rifle, Cope acted swiftly, firing a shotgun and wounding the suspect in the arm.

“He Shot My Arm Off!”

Unfortunately, Cope experienced a heart attack during the incident but per additional stories, he recovered in the hospital and was expected to be okay. His actions serve as a powerful example of self-defense and the importance of being prepared.

Update: This story initially broke in 2022, and news reporting Cope passed away recently from a stroke. May he rest in peace.
